These terms govern your access to and use of Law Firm Signals, operated by Sure Scale Private Limited (UEN 202407567D), a company registered in Singapore and trading as Law Firm Signals ("Law Firm Signals", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the service you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Source Policy.
01The service
Law Firm Signals monitors the public digital footprint of law firms and translates qualifying public events into structured buying signals, likely stakeholders, and engagement context for your internal sales and marketing use. Signals are derived from public sources and are interpretations of that information, not verified facts or guarantees of intent.
02Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and acting on behalf of a business, and you must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
03Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular you will not:
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the signal, stakeholder, or contact data except as permitted in writing;
- use the service to harass or intimidate individuals, or for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the technical limits of the platform, or gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- breach the terms of service of any third-party platform (such as LinkedIn, Reddit, or X) when acting on a signal that references it.
04Signals are interpretations
Signals, stakeholder maps, confidence scores, and engagement briefs are interpretations of publicly available information produced with the assistance of automated systems. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and they are provided as suggestions to inform, not replace, your own judgement. You are responsible for independently verifying any signal, attribution, or contact detail before relying on or acting on it. Signals do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice and are not a guarantee that any firm or individual intends to buy.
05AI-generated content
The service uses artificial intelligence and large language models to classify changes, summarise public material, infer stakeholders, score confidence, and draft engagement briefs ("AI-Generated Content").
No guarantee of accuracy. AI systems may produce inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated information (sometimes called "hallucinations"), including incorrect facts, URLs, statistics, attributions, or names. While we apply editorial controls and cite sources to reduce this, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-Generated Content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving it before any use.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for any communication, content, or action you take based on AI-Generated Content, including ensuring that outreach complies with applicable law (such as PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and the GDPR) and does not contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements. We surface recommendations only; we do not send outreach on your behalf or operate automated outreach agents.
No third-party IP warranty. We do not warrant that AI-Generated Content will not infringe third-party rights, and you are responsible for ensuring your use of it complies with applicable law.
06Contact data accuracy
Contact details surfaced by the service are taken from public sources or inferred from public patterns and validation-checked, but may still be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. You must verify contact details before use and are responsible for sourcing a lawful basis for, and honouring opt-outs in respect of, any outreach you send.
07Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period and does not renew after that.
08Free signal map and guarantee
A free signal map is offered on request and carries no obligation. Core includes a 30-day money-back guarantee: if signal-led outreach has not earned its place in your pipeline within the first 30 days, contact us and we refund that month in full.
09Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the platform, our classification methods, and the presentation of signals. You retain rights in your own data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service and its outputs for your internal business purposes only.
10Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and our sourcing approach in the Source Policy. You are responsible for using signal outputs in compliance with applicable laws, including data-protection and anti-spam rules in your jurisdiction.
11Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any signal, stakeholder mapping, contact detail, or AI-Generated Content is accurate, complete, or reliable. Signals do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred Singapore dollars (SGD 100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
13Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Law Firm Signals, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your breach of these terms; (b) your use of signals, contact data, or AI-Generated Content; (c) outreach or communications you send; or (d) your use of the service other than as expressly authorised.
14Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, will do so.
15Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce them. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
